Er liegt etwa 2.700 Kilometer von der Osterinsel entfernt, die etwa 7.750 Einwohner hat (Wikipedia). <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"500\" height=\"356\" src=\"https:\/\/www.uni-mag.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Easter_Island_map-en.svg.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10674\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.uni-mag.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Easter_Island_map-en.svg.png 500w, https:\/\/www.uni-mag.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Easter_Island_map-en.svg-300x214.png 300w, https:\/\/www.uni-mag.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/Easter_Island_map-en.svg-281x200.png 281w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><em>Die Osterinsel. Die Lage der Moai-Statuen ist sichtbar. <\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p>Die Osterinsel weist ein gro\u00dfes arch\u00e4ologisches Interesse auf, dank der monumentalen, gemei\u00dfelten Figuren, den riesigen Steinstatuen oder Moai. Ihre H\u00f6hen reichen von 2,5 bis 10 Metern. Viele dieser Statuen sind unvollst\u00e4ndig. Die \u00e4ltesten stammen aus dem 8. Jahrhundert v. Warum? Es ist wirklich wert, sich dar\u00fcber Gedanken zu machen.  <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"225\" height=\"225\" src=\"https:\/\/www.uni-mag.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/CEMETRY-1.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10682\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.uni-mag.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/CEMETRY-1.jpeg 225w, https:\/\/www.uni-mag.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/CEMETRY-1-150x150.jpeg 150w, https:\/\/www.uni-mag.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/CEMETRY-1-200x200.jpeg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/figure>\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p>Zus\u00e4tzlich befindet sich in der Gegend um Point Nemo das Satellitenfriedhof. Was passiert wirklich mit Satelliten, wenn sie &#8220;sterben&#8221; und nicht mehr funktionieren k\u00f6nnen? Eine L\u00f6sung besteht darin, wieder in die Erdatmosph\u00e4re einzutreten. Beim Eintritt in die Erdatmosph\u00e4re entz\u00fcnden sie sich und vergehen, \u00e4hnlich wie Sternschnuppen.  <br\/>Wenn sie jedoch gro\u00df sind, wie die Internationale Raumstation, werden sie im Satellitenfriedhof am Point Nemo &#8220;abgesetzt&#8221;. Dort befindet sich die Raumstation Mir sowie insgesamt 263 andere Weltraumm\u00fcll (2024, Wikipedia).
