It was the full moon of July, and the moon had risen high, illuminating the sky with a bright, clear light.<\/p>\n\n

Although it was just a simple moment, something in the atmosphere made her pause and capture it. A small break in the routine, framed by the night sky. <\/p>\n\n

The full moon of July is also known as the \u201cBuck Moon,\u201d a name given by Native American tribes, as it marks the period when deer grow new antlers. During a full moon, the Moon is positioned directly opposite the Sun, making its entire illuminated side visible from Earth. If two full moons occur in July, the second one is called a \u201cBlue Moon\u201d \u2014 a relatively rare event. <\/p>\n\n
