Dentro de \u00e9l, el cohete contiene el Telescopio Espacial James Webb, que fue lanzado con \u00e9xito en \u00f3rbita alrededor de la Tierra. Para un art\u00edculo anterior sobre el Telescopio Espacial James Webb, vea <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uni-mag.gr\/es\/el-telescopio-espacial-james-webb\/\">aqu\u00ed<\/a><\/p>\n\n<p>El Ariane 5 es un cohete de la ESA (Agencia Espacial Europea). Entre los a\u00f1os 2003 y 2017 tuvo aproximadamente 82 lanzamientos exitosos. Su prop\u00f3sito era colocar sat\u00e9lites en \u00f3rbita alrededor de la Tierra.<\/p>\n\n<p>En abril de 2023, lanz\u00f3 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uni-mag.gr\/es\/noticia-mision-juice\/\">el sat\u00e9lite JUICE<\/a> hacia el planeta J\u00fapiter. Despu\u00e9s de este sat\u00e9lite, el Ariane 5 se retir\u00f3 y cedi\u00f3 su trabajo al nuevo sat\u00e9lite Ariane 6, que esperamos sea tan digno como su predecesor.<\/p>\n\n<p>Algunos lanzamientos destacados del cohete Ariane 5 incluyen los siguientes:<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. 1996, Cluster I, cohete 501. <\/h2>\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p>Termin\u00f3 en fracaso, el cohete explot\u00f3 unos segundos despu\u00e9s del lanzamiento.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/upload.wikimedia.org\/wikipedia\/en\/6\/69\/Cluster_insignia.jpg\" alt=\"\" style=\"width:269px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p>El Ariane 5 llevaba 4 sat\u00e9lites que orbitar\u00edan alrededor de la Tierra para estudiar en tres dimensiones el campo magn\u00e9tico del Sol y c\u00f3mo el viento solar afecta a la Tierra. Sabemos muy bien que las part\u00edculas emitidas por el Sol crean <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uni-mag.gr\/es\/what-is-northern-lights-aurora-borealis\/\">la aurora boreal<\/a> y <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uni-mag.gr\/es\/capitan-gg-aurora-australis\/\">la aurora austral.<\/a> <br\/><br\/>Desafortunadamente, el vuelo 501 del Ariane 5 termin\u00f3 en fracaso.<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/www.uni-mag.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/maxresdefault-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9843\" style=\"width:710px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.uni-mag.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/maxresdefault-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.uni-mag.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/maxresdefault-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.uni-mag.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/maxresdefault-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.uni-mag.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/maxresdefault.jpg 1280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p>El sat\u00e9lite fue reconstruido y el Cluster II fue lanzado con \u00e9xito en 2004 por un cohete Soyuz desde el cosm\u00f3dromo de Baikonur en Kazajist\u00e1n.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. 1999, XMM-Newton, cohete 504.<\/h2>\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/upload.wikimedia.org\/wikipedia\/commons\/thumb\/4\/4a\/XMM-Newton_spacecraft_model.png\/300px-XMM-Newton_spacecraft_model.png\" alt=\"\" style=\"width:463px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p>El XMM-Newton es un sat\u00e9lite que observa fuentes astron\u00f3micas en rayos X. Inicialmente estaba dise\u00f1ado para operar solo durante 10 a\u00f1os. En este momento (2024), se ha decidido mantenerlo operativo hasta el 2026.<\/p>\n\n<p><br\/>Entre las fuentes astron\u00f3micas que observ\u00f3 se encontraban c\u00famulos de galaxias, que aparecen en una historia <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uni-mag.gr\/es\/equipo-nai-cumulos-de-galaxias\/\">del grupo NAI.<\/a><br\/><br\/>El lanzamiento del XMM-Newton desde la Guayana Francesa se puede ver en el siguiente video:<\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Launch of XMM-Newton by Ariane 5\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/sKLLSxQRiN4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. 2002, Envisat, cohete 511<\/h2>\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/upload.wikimedia.org\/wikipedia\/commons\/1\/1b\/Envisatmod.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p>El Envisat era un gran sat\u00e9lite que observaba la Tierra. Permanece inactivo desde el 2012. Todav\u00eda orbita alrededor de la Tierra y se considera uno de los &#8220;desperdicios espaciales&#8221; que orbitan alrededor de la Tierra. Sus dimensiones son (23 x 10 x 5) metros. Mientras estuvo activo, ayud\u00f3 en el estudio de la qu\u00edmica atmosf\u00e9rica, la reducci\u00f3n del ozono, la biolog\u00eda marina, la temperatura de los oc\u00e9anos y mucho m\u00e1s.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. 2004, Rosetta, cohete 518<\/h2>\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/upload.wikimedia.org\/wikipedia\/commons\/thumb\/9\/9a\/Rosetta_spacecraft_model.png\/2560px-Rosetta_spacecraft_model.png\" alt=\"\" style=\"width:584px;height:auto\"\/><\/figure>\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p>La Rosetta parti\u00f3 de la Tierra en 2004 para encontrarse con el cometa 67P\/Churyumov\u2013Gerasimenko (67P). El viaje de la Rosetta para llegar a su encuentro con el cometa dur\u00f3 aproximadamente 10 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n\n<p><br\/>Lleg\u00f3 a su encuentro en 2014. Arroj\u00f3 sobre el cometa una caja con el nombre griego &#8220;\u03a6\u03af\u03bb\u03b7&#8221; (Philae).<\/p>\n\n<p><br\/>El compositor griego Vangelis ensalz\u00f3 este encuentro con su creaci\u00f3n:<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Vangelis - Vangelis: Rosetta Timeline (Rosetta)\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/WSa3kkMQ574?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n<p>El video anterior muestra todo el viaje de Rosetta hasta el cometa y el despliegue de &#8220;Philae&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. 2009, Herschel + Planck, cohete 546<\/h2>\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized is-style-rounded\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"387\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.uni-mag.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/issue-07-Ariane-387x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9783\" style=\"width:153px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.uni-mag.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/issue-07-Ariane-387x1024.jpg 387w, https:\/\/www.uni-mag.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/issue-07-Ariane-113x300.jpg 113w, https:\/\/www.uni-mag.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/issue-07-Ariane-76x200.jpg 76w, https:\/\/www.uni-mag.gr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/issue-07-Ariane.jpg 410w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 387px) 100vw, 387px\" \/><\/figure>\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p>Dos sat\u00e9lites fueron lanzados simult\u00e1neamente en 2009 por el Ariane 5.<\/p>\n\n<p><br\/>El Herschel fue el telescopio espacial m\u00e1s grande en el infrarrojo hasta 2021, cuando se lanz\u00f3 el Telescopio Espacial James Webb (JWST). El segundo sat\u00e9lite lanzado junto con el Herschel fue el Planck. Ayud\u00f3 en la observaci\u00f3n del fondo c\u00f3smico de microondas. Esas observaciones son necesarias para construir modelos cosmol\u00f3gicos que intentan explicar el principio y el fin del universo.<\/p>\n\n<p><br\/>Ambos sat\u00e9lites estuvieron operativos hasta el a\u00f1o 2013.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6. 2018, Bepi Colombo<\/h2>\n\n<div style=\"height:25px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p>Esta misi\u00f3n estudiar\u00e1 el planeta m\u00e1s cercano al Sol. Encontrar\u00e1 las caracter\u00edsticas del campo magn\u00e9tico de Mercurio. El espejo tiene un di\u00e1metro de 6.5 metros. Est\u00e1 compuesto por 18 espejos individuales. JUICE llegar\u00e1 a J\u00fapiter alrededor del a\u00f1o 2031.
