Pero, \u00bfqu\u00e9 tipo de estrella fue? <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La luz de esta explosi\u00f3n lleg\u00f3 a la Tierra en octubre de 1604, hace apenas cuatro siglos. La supernova cre\u00f3 una nueva estrella brillante en el cielo del siglo XVII, dentro de la constelaci\u00f3n de Ofiuco. El astr\u00f3nomo Johannes Kepler, junto con sus contempor\u00e1neos, la estudi\u00f3 sin telescopio, tratando de comprender este fen\u00f3meno celestial.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hoy, con nuestro conocimiento moderno de la evoluci\u00f3n estelar y con la ayuda de telescopios espaciales, los astr\u00f3nomos siguen investigando la nube de escombros en expansi\u00f3n. Gracias al observatorio de rayos X Chandra, disponemos ahora de datos que revelan elementos caracter\u00edsticos de una supernova Tipo Ia. Los estudios indican que la estrella que explot\u00f3 fue una enana blanca, que acumul\u00f3 demasiada masa de una estrella gigante roja compa\u00f1era y super\u00f3 el l\u00edmite de Chandrasekhar, lo que provoc\u00f3 su explosi\u00f3n.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ubicado a unos 13.000 a\u00f1os luz de distancia, este remanente representa la supernova m\u00e1s reciente observada en nuestra galaxia, la V\u00eda L\u00e1ctea.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p class=\"card-text\">Una nueva estrella brillante sorprendi\u00f3 a los astr\u00f3nomos del siglo XVII.
