NOVEMBER FULL MOON 2025: THE BRIGHTEST SUPERMOON OF THE LAST SIX YEARS

The November 2025 full moon was one of the brightest and most impressive of the decade. It was a supermoon, the moment when the Moon is at its closest point to Earth.
The Moon’s distance from Earth is constantly changing, but today, 8 November 2025, the Moon is close to its perigee, the closest point in its orbit. Thus, the distance ranges from about 356, 400 to 370,400 kilometres, while the average distance is about 384,403 kilometres. This small but significant difference makes the Moon appear larger and brighter in the night sky.
